01 / Introduction
About Me
I'm Yifang Zhu, a designer with a background in environmental and spatial design, currently exploring interaction and digital experiences.
My professional experience has primarily involved interior and spatial design, with a focus on concept development and spatial planning. Over time, my interest has expanded from physical environments to the ways people interact with digital products, information, and experiences.
I see this transition as an opportunity to explore design across different mediums, rather than leaving my previous experience behind.

02 / How I Approach Design
How I Approach Design
I tend to approach design by understanding the underlying problem before developing its visual form.
My experience in spatial design has shaped how I think about structure, hierarchy, movement, and the relationship between people and their environments.
Whether working with physical spaces or digital interfaces, I'm interested in how individual elements connect to form an experience that feels coherent, intuitive, and meaningful.
03 / What I'm Exploring
What I'm Exploring
Currently, I'm developing my skills in interaction design, focusing on user experience, interface design, and interactive systems.
One of my personal projects, Memory, explores how music and photographs can be connected through interaction to help people revisit personal experiences.
I'm particularly interested in the intersection of visual expression, human behaviour, technology, and the emotional qualities of everyday experiences.
